- What is the process in getting new countertops?
Contact us or one of our dealers for a quote. Simply provide a sketch of your counter area. Select a colour, keeping in mind there is a range of pricing depending on product. Use our website, or one of our manufacturers website to select a colour. You can also visit one our dealers to see their samples. We can email a quote, subject to onsite measurements by our rep. Our templator will do onsite laser templates, and confirm quote measurements etc. At this time our professional can inspect area, taking note of any installation concerns etc. After templates are done, there is approx. 7-10 day production time. Our professional installers show up and install your beautiful counters which normally take about 1/2 day. Undermount sinks will be installed and tap hole drilled. We leave the plumbing hookup to plumbing professionals.
- What is the warranty period?
Most of our manufactures offer a RESIDENTIAL LIFETIME WARRANTY.
- What is natural quartz?
Quartz is one the hardest componets of granite. The only harder minerals are diamonds, sapphires, and topaz. Quartz crystals are mixed with special polymers and pigments creating a beautiful, scratch and impact resistant surface. Quartz content can be as high as 93% compared to 65% in natural granite.
- What are the advantages of quartz counters?
Quartz is a non-porous therefore bacteria and germs cannot penetrate the surface. No sealing is required.
- How do I maintain my beautiful Quartz counter?
Easy! Just soap and water and a soft cloth.
- Can hot plates and pans be set directly on quartz counters?
Althought quartz has a high resistance to heat, it is still recommended to use pads or trivets. Prolonged high heat exposure can damage surface.
